There are many different ways to advertise your products and your brand through many different marketing methods. After reviewing this 60 minutes transcript: The Influencers, I know a lot more about this style of marketing than most of society. The term Influencer means a person with the ability to influence potential buyers of a product or service by promoting or recommending these items on social media platforms. The thing I noticed about this kind of marketing is that influencers can really push your brand and products to the next level or bring it down because they really have a strong audience that will follow what they say regarding these products and brands. Influencers are a great marketing tool for businesses worldwide because they have millions and millions of followers across social media platforms that allows them to leverage their personal self as well as businesses they work along side with to promote their brand and products. Influencers benefit off of this style of marketing as well because they can also make a lot of money from doing so. Logan Paul who was one of the biggest influencers during this time of the airing of the Influencers on Paramount network mentioned that the biggest companies come to me to sell their products to the younger generation because I can relate to them. Logan Paul did an advertisement for Dunkin Doughnuts one time and was paid nearly $200,000 for promoting and advertising their brand and products. This style of marketing is key to the success of a brand and their products so for all those brands out there, make sure you work with those influencers!

The style of strategies that Influencers and brands are employing are strategies such as sponsored content, discount codes and mentions on social media. These influencers have a platform that is like no other so for brands working with these influencers, they can give these influencers content that the influencers can turn into marketing gold and advertise it on their social media platforms. They know how to tailor it to their audience and reach them in a way only the influencers can. Discount codes are the number one thing I see on some influencers pages because this is the easiest way for the consumers to go to these brands and invest into their products. I have used codes from influencers before for places like McDonald's and Chipotle because if anyone has the same mind as me, I love a good discount! These influencers advertise that and when I come across it, I snatch it up. Mentions on social media are another style of strategy that influencers will promote brands because a simple mention of a brand takes two seconds. The consumers themselves will go invest and look up these brands but they will only know of them from the advertisement from the influencers.

Influencers play A HUGE ROLE in marketing because they have the power to drive more people towards a brand and their products. Consumers trust the recommendations made by their favorite influencers so they will do as they say. Brands can use this to influence purchase decisions and drive more conversions. Influencers know how to create native ads that will tend to resonate better with consumers who spend most of their time on social media and online networks.

The use of this marketing perspective can cause a great relationship between the companies and consumers. This marketing perspective will enhance brand loyalty and that equals to happy consumers. The influencers advertising these brands and products will help push also their personal brand and products they may create to a new level which will reach their target audience and create a life long partnership. Influencers may see this marketing as a way for them to get a lot of money in endorsements and more which is true but in the bigger picture, they are helping these brands gain a lot of attention which results in more consumers and that equals positive imaging for their brand and products. Influencers and brands working together benefit each other and helps with the foundation between the brands, consumers and influencers as well. Everyone must find the right fit together for a healthy marketing relationship going forward.
